Jazzy Flutes 2019

The Song of the Angels Flute Orchestra, directed by Charles Fernandez are joined by amazing guest jazz flutists, vocalist, and rhythm section recording artist to present wonderful arrangements for your listening pleasure.

Featured on this program are jazz solo greats Ali Ryerson (flute), Fred Selden (flute), Madeline Vegari Neuman (vocals), Bryan Pezzone (piano), Brad Dutz (drums), John Leftwich (bass) plus the SOA Flutists including Roland Tso's collection of very large low flutes!

Arrangers and composers include Bugs Bower, Duke Ellington, Charles Fernandez, George Gershwin, Chikako Iversen, Jerry Leiber, Johnny Mandel, Roger Neumann, Jim Repa, Massimo Sammi, Fred Selden, Mark Stroller, Will Thompson and Victor Young.

Guests flutist attending the concert will be invited to participate in the closing number with the orchestra and guest rhythm section. Plus complimentary refreshments will be served during the intermission where audience members will have a chance to meet the performers.
