Richard Smith & Doug Smith NW Summer Concert

This is a rare event showcasing TWO US National Fingerstyle Champions on one stage. Playing music from the 60's and beyond... in both directions!

Richard Smith is a Nashville based touring & recording artist and is considered to be one of the best in the business. Richard is the 2001 Winfield International Finger Style Guitar Winner and has played with the likes of Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed and Tommy Emmanuel.

CHET ATKINS said, "The most amazing guy I know on the guitar."

Richard's repertoire spans from classical to mainstream with a large part favoring Folk, modern and classic rock, to country and bluegrass.

But most intriguing are his John Philip Sousa marches... which come close to sounding like an entire marching band, drums, and all!

Vancouver, WA resident acoustic guitarist Doug Smith is a Grammy Award Winner and in 2006 won the prestigious Winfield International Finger style Guitar Competition. Performing with his wife Judy Koch Smith, a great flutist and singer, their harmony and humor makes for great entertainment!

Doug's guitar playing has been heard on the big screen in the popular 2007 film August Rush. He is currently rehearsing for the August Rush Broadway Show to be rolled out the fall of 2019.
