MAGIC, MENTALISM AND COMEDY KICK OFF A NEW YEAR OF AMAZEMENT AT THE PARLOR OF MYSTERY JANUARY 27 at 7pm
MAGICIANS, MENTALISTS AND FUNNY MEN MARK ZACHARIA, BEN ZABIN, TJ TANA AND JEFF MILLER USHER IN ANOTHER YEAR OF AWESOME AT THE PARLOR OF MYSTERY AT THE SOUTH SHORE THEATRE EXPERIENCE
The show will feature mind-bending close-up magic, spectacular mentalism and side-splitting comedy by award-winning performers.
Mark Zacharia is a magician, mind-reader, and hypnotist with more than 25 years' experience entertaining in the corporate and private sectors. His one-man shows have been featured in theaters throughout the United States. He has performed for baseball great Bobby Thomson and even given a command performance for the New York State Senate. New Jersey Monthly magazine calls him a "total bogglement" (February 2016). He can get the best reactions from audiences, whether commanding the attention of a boardroom full of executives, a living room filled with adults, a college filled with students, a theatre full of families or a house filled with guests. A magician's magician, Mark is often brought into magic conventions to teach other magicians and has authored several publications for magicians.
Ben Zabin holds of over a dozen international awards and honors. His unique brand of magic has been seen on stages from off-Broadway in New York City to the famous Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, and everywhere in between. In addition to performing over 60 shows a year across the country, he is the producer magic kits, has written several books on magic and is the go-to magic consultant for the Huffington Post. In 2016, he was named one of the "Top 10 Teens to Watch" by Moffly Media.
TJ Tana one of the founders of the Parlor of Mystery and will emcee the show. TJ recently finished a tour with the widely popular "Masters Of Illusion" show and has performed in notable venues such as Harrahs Casino in Atlantic City and the NYCB Theatre at Westbury.
Jeff Miller is a regular at the Parlor of Mystery. He has thrilled Parlor audiences during intermission on many occasions. Once again hell appear in the lobby during intermission to perform some of his amazing close-up magic.
The Parlor of Mysterys home is the South Shore Theatre Experience in Lindenhurst. Its the perfect place to experience parlor and close-up magic. It is a small black box theater with comfortable tiered seating for 40. The Parlor of Mystery is one of many productions that take place at the South Shore Theatre Experience, which is located at 115 South Wellwood Avenue in Lindenhurst. The South Shore Theatre Experience is a non- profit organization that produces original works and theater classics as well as conducting acting classes & workshops.
Parlor of Mystery shows usually take place on the fourth Sunday of every month with different magicians performing different effects.
