I had researched Tamara Wellons recordings and was looking forward to seeing her at Firehouse - the live show was special. The Songs for Janie evening impressed me with a sense of empowerment and being home - gorgeous vocals, a warm atmosphere, the ensemble was extraordinary. It was blend of political, spiritual and musical ideas especially in regards to womanhood and the energy of loving. -Tennessee Dixon, Richmond, Virginia
Excellent Show! - Michelle Gilliam, Downing Gross Cultural Arts Center, Newport News,Virginia
