Join us for our yearly tradition, the Rives Theatre's opening party concert! For $125 per ticket, you will receive entry to this show, which includes open bar (beer, wine, liquor) and catered dinner, as well as Season Pass to the 2019 Live At The Rives concert series. The concert series will feature at least six shows over the course of 2019, not counting this Jan. 26th show. The revenue generated by Season Pass sales helps us offer world-class programming throughout the 2019 year. There is no better way you can support live music at the theatre than attending this show!

Love The Talking Heads? Same As It Ever Was does it right. This 7-piece outfit of Knoxville musicians came together out of their mutual love and respect for the music of the Talking Heads in the summer of 2004 and have not looked back since. Over the years the band has performed extensively, and now nearly have the entire Talking Heads catalog at their fingertips; They bring the excitement and energy of everything from 77 to Naked, and all the B-sides in between. Same As It Ever Was strives to maintain the integrity of the Talking Heads groundbreaking music, while bringing their own panache to the game.
