FANCY NANCY

Fancy Nancy is a young girl with a larger than life personality, who adores all things fancy. She always dresses extravagantly, wearing feather boas, tutus, fairy wings and fuzzy slippers. Nancy loves using big fancy words such as "iridescent", "ecstatic" and "extraordinary", and anything in French.
When Nancy and her friends learn that their teacher is planning a show, "Deep Sea Dances," Nancy is positive that she and Bree will be picked to be mermaids. When another girl wins the coveted tail fin, Nancy is stuck playing a dreary, dull tree. Can Nancy bring fancy flair to her role, even though it isn't the one she wanted?
Fancy Nancy the Musical promises to be boisterous and convivial which is really just fancy for "fun"!

THE FANCY PARTY
The pre-show "Fancy Party" begins 90 minutes before each performance. Kids get to enjoy a bit of fancy crafting before the show. The Fancy Party is like an open house; arrive anytime in the window of time prior to showtime. The party is included in the price of each ticket.
The Fancy Party is held in the lower level Legacy Lounge; accessibility is limited for the physically challenged (stairs). Please call the theatre at 528-9760 to discuss your unique needs.

Lap passes for children 3 and under are $5, and are available at the box office on the day of the performance. If your child will be sitting on your lap, purchase one regular adult ticket, and then request a lap pass for your child at the door beginning 90 minutes prior to curtain.

ABOUT THE SENSORY-FRIENDLY PERFORMANCE - MARCH 14 at 11am
The show is performed in a friendly, supportive environment for an audience of families and friends with children or adults who are diagnosed with an autism spectrum challenge or other sensitivity issues. Slight adjustments to the production are made, including the reduction of any jarring sounds or strobe lights focused into the audience. The theatre lights are left low, and the sound is slightly reduced. Guests may bring their own snacks to this performance. The lower level lounge (accessible via stairs) is available as a quiet space for those who need to leave their seats during the performance.

The Legacy Theatre abides by "the show must go on" principle.
In the event of inclement weather, we encourage our guests to use their best judgement regarding travel to and from the performance, however we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for guests who are unable to attend. In the unlikely event that a performance is cancelled, ticket holders will be notified by email regarding refunds or exchanges.
