Ark of Taste Speakeasy: Slow Food Russian River Holiday Happy Hour

We hope that you'll join with your Slow Food Russian River friends and family to celebrate the holidays with a taste of Terra Madre. This year people from all over the country competed to represent America's historic cocktail culture at Terra Madre by mixing up their best concoctions featuring Ark of Taste products. In honor of Terra Madre Day, we want to bring a bit of the fun back to Sonoma County!

Come celebrate with us as we shake up our holiday happy hour with slow sips of Ark inspired cocktails (& mocktails), bites created with our local bounty, and stories of Slow Food around the world shared by our delegates.

We'll be sharing some of our favorite recipes, and hope that you will too! Bring your favorite sweet, savory snack, or beverage featuring a heritage breed ingredient like the Gravenstein Apple, Bodega Red Potato, or an American Bronze Turkey. Terra Madre Day, December 10th, is a day where Slow Food members in all corners of the world come together to put the spotlight on our collective work to ensure a good, clean, & fair food system. Slow Food Russian River will be one of dozens of chapters that will come together during this week to celebrate Slow Food near and far. We hope that you'll come to connect to our work in Russian River, California, the United States, and abroad.

A few things to note we hope that you'll consider carpooling. Parking is limited, and we'll have a special treat for designated drivers. We also ask that you bring your own small plate and silverware to help us cut down on waste.
