Snap on 2&4 w/ Lori Mechem

The Nashville Jazz Workshop presents its final Snap on 2&4 performance of the year Friday, December 12, 8PM featuring pianist and Jazz Workshop Director Lori Mechem.

Besides being a wonderful jazz pianist, Lori is an accomplished composer, and will display the full range of her artistry in this. The evening will include some of her original jazz compositions, some fresh new arrangements of pop standards, as well an assortment of her Brazilian-flavored jazz tunes (with a nod to her Brazilian ensemble, Ritmos Picantes).

Joining Lori on stage will be some of Nashville's finest jazz musicians, all familiar to NJW audiences: Roger Spencer (bass), Chris Brown (drums), Denis Solee (saxophone), Pete Huttlinger (guitar), Teree McCormick (percussion), and special guests yet to be announced.

Admission is $20 / $10 high school and college students with ID. Tickets will go on sale Monday, December 1 at 10AM and will be available here, by phone 24/7 at Brown Paper Tickets (800-838-3006) or during business hours at the NJW office (242-5299). A small convenience charge is added to online or 800-number purchases.

Seating is reserved.Seating is a combination of 4-person tables and bar stools. SEE BELOW FOR A VENUE MAP. Parties of less than four may be seated at tables with other patrons.
