Decorative Shibari Workshop

Come learn how to quickly and confidently tie beautiful rope chest harnesses and other bondage techniques for fun and pleasure! In this two-hour workshop, you'll learn step-by-step how to tie three different rope harnesses that are attractive over or under clothing (Halloween is coming!), as well as functional for rope-play in the bedroom. You'll also learn different ways to tie limbs with rope, and how to combine that with chest harnesses to create restraints like the hogtie.

This workshop is appropriate for all genders, sexual orientations, and body types. No experience is needed, and we'll be demonstrating tip and tricks that are useful for everyone from novices to experienced rope handlers.

Bring one 30' and two 10' pieces of 1/4" or 6mm rope to use. Need some rope? Monk of Seattle's Twisted Monk Rope will be selling high-quality dyed hemp rope in a assortment of colors before the class begins. We'll also have a bit of spare rope you can borrow for the class. Don't have a partner for the class? Don't worry--we'll pair up solo students with each other to work on the material together.

This workshop is limited to 14 students. For that reason, we strongly encourage you to purchase your tickets as soon as possible.
