Red Deer - Caring for Our Children: We Are in This Together
As the practice within child intervention continues to evolve, many new initiatives have been introduced over the last few years i.e. Outcome Based Service Delivery, Front-end Strategies, Signs of Safety, the Practice Framework and others that support a more effective, collaborative and flexible way of supporting children and families to achieve better outcomes.
This session will provide:
An overview of the evolution and intent of the practice shifts including an awareness of how all the initiatives are all connected; complement each other and are moving in the same direction;
Information about some of the emerging promising trends;
A discussion of changing roles and
A view into the future how will I and/or my agency fit into this "new world" of practicing differently?
