Million Youth Dance A Thon

This Dance A Thon, to be held in North Hollywood, is part of a larger effort to fund education and outreach to youth to learn how to problem solve in a non violent way. Additionally, proceeds will further the efforts of the Million Youth Peace March in teaching youth to say NO to bullying, violence, substance and alcohol abuse, and childhood obesity.

The Dance A Thon will take place on Saturday August 2nd, 2014. Checkin and registration will be at 5211 Tujunga Avenue North Hollywood, CA 91601 at the North Hollywood Park, behind the library entrance.

We are excited to have you join us as we continue to make strides to inspire "World Peace" & Unconditional Love. To restore hope & confidence in the family, educational institutions & impoverished communities. Dance and creative movement will provide the opportunity to assist our neighbors in need, and get physically active at the same time.

Dancers (teams of up to 10 encouraged) will dance for 8 continuous hours with prizes going to the most spirited, most money raised for the cause, most creative, best dressed and several other categories.

Red carpet arrivals begin at 7 AM. Confirmed media in attendance. Interviews on the red carpet. This is a great PR opportunity in addition to a wonderful way to give back.

General event check in begins at 7 AM also. Event for all dancers kicks off promptly at 8 AM.

Dress comfortably!! (At least your feet!!) Snacks, food, beverages will be available for purchase. Special VIP break area available for those that walk the red carpet.
