Out by Ten: Come Hear A Story...3 Moth StorySLAM Winners and 4 Pop/Jazz/Cabaret Musicians Mix it Up
On July 24, 2014, Out by Ten producers, Jane Ashe and Susan Seliger, present an evening of storytelling in voice and song that will transport you to the easy-going1950s and back again  Thursday from 7:30 to 9:30 PM at 121 Ludlow Street, NYC.

Three great Moth StorySLAM winners will take you on a funny and inspiring journey into their personal worlds.

And the amazing pop/jazz harmonies of the vocal quartet, Quarter to Four, and the stories they sing, will move you to laugh and clap and maybe even get up and dance.

She is an editor of "radio style" stories for RISK!, a graduate of the Atlantic Theater Company's conservatory program and you can hear her voice announcing funders on NY Public Radio from time to time.
More:

Quarter to Four (Q2IV) is a NYC-based vocal quartet for whom the story is the song. Fusing the styles of jazz, pop and showtunes, their influences range from Bacharach to Sondheim, Beatles to Steely Dan, Billy Joel to Elton John.  Whether swaying with jazz, rocking a hard beat or teasing the pathos out of a ballad, Quarter to Four is developing a formula rarely found in the classic cabaret scene.
Q2IV Members: Liz McKendry, Jody Mullen, Erika Banks and Rick Knight, whose original compositions the group performs.
