Preparations for a small town's traditional Christmas pageant take a turn when the Herdman siblings known as the worst kids in the history of the world take over! It looks like the play is doomed, especially because the Herdman's don't even know the Christmas story! But when they start to ask honest questions, everyone gains a fresh perspective on what that first Christmas really looked like. In the end, with unkempt costumes, a terrifying angel, and the Magi's gift of ham, the town opens their eyes to the true impact of Christmas. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is a play adapted from Barbara Robinson's 1972 novel also known in Australia and the UK as The Worst Kids in the World that has been adapted into several movies.
