Talk Title:
The Development of Washington States Tsunami Program

Bio:
Tim received bachelors and masters degrees from UCLA and spent 37-1/2 years with the Washington Geological Survey before retiring in 2018. Most of that time was spent as manager of the geologic hazards program, and was a founding member of the National Tsunami Hazard Mitigation Program (NTHMP) and the Cascadia Region Earthquake Workgroup (CREW), He has authored or co-authored 30 geologic maps, 13 tsunami hazard maps, and dozens of earthquake site characterizations.
