History of Metal takes you on a journey through the evolution of metal, exploring the genre's key shifts and stylistic transformations. From the early roots of blues-influenced rock like Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin to the rise of faster, more aggressive sounds of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest as well as taking glances into classic and modern subgenres like hair metal, nu-metal and progressive metal.
