Sylph Geneva Lake
Performed under the beautiful lakefront Ferro Pavilion, five professional ballet dancers from Milwaukee Ballet and beyond bring celebrated choreographer Dawn Springer's critically acclaimed performance, Sylph, to the shores of Geneva Lake. Surrounded by nature with a score by renowned experimental percussionist and composer, Jon Mueller, the immersive contemporary dance and sound experience re-imagines the fairy-like Sylphs of folktales, and reveals the humanity and power of the ballerinas who are tasked to portray them.
