Engaging Your Board Members in Fundraising
Most nonprofits benefit from having board members who actively help to fundraise, whether it's by making introductions to new supporters, recruiting sponsors for an event, or helping to thank recent donors. But many organizations struggle to actually make it happen.
This hands-on virtual workshop shares three concrete steps that nonprofits can take to get their boards organized and active with priority fundraising activities. Participants will learn:
- Why board engagement is so important for many nonprofits' fundraising success. - How to set clear expectations so new and returning board members understand their fundraising duties. - Ways to support board members and make their fundraising work more effective.
You'll leave with clear ideas to bring to your very next board meeting.
