Synopsis: What makes us want a pair of sneakers or the latest iPhone? Holy Shoes explores the relationship between humans and objects, electing the shoe as a symbol of the dysfunctional power that these fetishes wield over us. Through the stories of four characters whose lives are turned upside down by shoes, the film chronicles a world in which we all desire what we do not have and we all want to be what we are not. No more money or jewelry, we live, love and die for a pair of shoes.
