Creating Your 2025 Fundraising Plan
Research demonstrates that a nonprofit with a written fundraising plan raises more money than an organization that flies by the seat of its pants. As we prepare for a year with many unknowns, you can help create more security for your nonprofit by starting with a written plan for how you will raise the money you need to survive and thrive.
In this hands-on virtual workshop, participants will learn:
-Ways to decide which fundraising strategies make the most sense for their own organization.
-A four-step process for creating a simple, practical fundraising plan.
-Suggestions for how to navigate the uncertainties of raising money in 2025.

In an effort to make this learning opportunity as accessible as possible to organizations with a range of budget sizes, registration is available on a trust-based sliding scale. You are invited to select the registration rate that best meets your needs.
$5: Personal Investment

You are paying for this workshop out of pocket without support from your employer, or
Your organization has limited or no budget for professional development, or
The full cost of registration would prevent you from participating in this workshop.
$25: Full Cost
Consider this registration if:
You have a budget for professional development that you will mindfully spread over the course of the year.
$50: Community Investment
Consider this registration if:
Your organization has enough professional development funding that you do not expect it to limit your learning opportunities this year, or
You would like your registration to also make these learning opportunities more accessible to other nonprofit professionals and volunteers.
About the facilitator:
Nora Ellertsen is the Founder and Fundraising Coach with The Funding Seed, a New Orleans-based company that teaches people how to raise money for nonprofits. She has nearly 25 years of experience in the nonprofit and fundraising fields, including 14 years as a coach and facilitator supporting organizations as they learn to raise money for their missions. Her specialty is working with small-shop nonprofits and people who are new to fundraising.
