Twisted Toy Factory: Constructing a Multipart Paper Rod Puppet Workshop

The toy factory has gone haywire! All of the animal toy parts have gotten all mixed up! With a little creativity, a dash of mad science, and a hearty helping of holiday magic, you can make your very own twisted toy in this make-&-take workshop to design & build your own, original, paper puppet, mechanics and all!

Participants will choose from a variety of heads, bodies, & booties that they can use to make their own unique creature and then add any number of steampunk themed addons to blend nature and technology. Guided by the talented Kat Pleviak of Sea Beast Puppet Company (seabeastpuppetry.com), this make and take puppet class is great for all ages. Kids under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent. The art is detailed and adults who enjoy coloring will also really enjoy this project.
