2024 AEG Nisqually Holiday Party - Friends and family welcome!

Admission includes dinner and the presentation. The price is $25 for professionals, $15 for educators & job seekers, and $5 for students. Gift exchange ($20 - $30 value) is voluntary.

We have a lot of fun activities planned this year:

Rock & Soil Sample Display: We'll be displaying your favorite rock and soil samples from 2024.
**If you'd like to participate, please bring one or more soil and/or rock samples you personally collected within the past 12 months.

White Elephant Gift Exchange: Our traditional white elephant gift exchange continues this year, and we hope it's as revelrous and riotous as in years past. Helmets, mouth guards and elbow pads not provided.
**If you'd like to participate, please bring a wrapped gift valued between $20 and $30 dollars.

Geologic Trivia: Test the hardness of your rock-solid knowledge in a lively trivia session. We've delved into Moria to find the most excellent geology-themed trivia questions.

Lidar Geomorphology Contest: How well can you identify and trace landslides, alluvial fans, faults and other geomorphic features in lidar? Well have hard copies of lidar maps for you to test your geomorph skills...and your artistic skills!

Mini Presentations by Nisqually Chapter Members: Keeping with tradition, we'll have a handful of short presentations (<5 minutes) from our chapter members displaying fun activities, vacations or projects they've been involved with in 2024.
