Resonate Choral Arts presents: Songs of the Sphere
A sonic oracle card project with music by Kristin Gordon and artwork by Beth Lorio.
Resonate Choral Arts, Glam Country, Fifth Sunday, Bex Beloved, the Oracle Chorus, plus more local musicians collaborate to present this beautiful and unique combination of songs and artwork. Each song and image gives voice to an element of nature, to increase our awareness of and connection to the planet we live in. Come explore the intersection of beauty and mystery!
Resonate Choral Arts is a Portland treble choir that has collaborated with many local artists from storytellers, to songwriters to local theater companies.
Fifth Sunday is a nine-voice classical ensemble, performing twice annually their favorite choral pieces from Lauridsen to Rheinberger.
Glam Country, fronted by songwriter, Nik Kemmer, is a glam rock/country band, most recently rocking the Laurelthirst, Rontoms and the weddings of good friends.
Bex Beloved brings amazing skill on violin, vocals, whistle and adds effects and loops.
The Oracle Chorus is making its debut, bringing 7-part harmonies to these odes to nature.
Come for an afternoon of cross-genre beauty, full of textures, harmony, color and poetry that will bring a deeper connection to the planet and all the beings that live here.
