The Lady of Shalott
From the director of the modern fairy tale Wouldn't It Be Lovely, and based on the iconic poem by Lord Alfred Tennyson, The Globe Theatre at Odessa College embarks on an unforgettable journey into the heart of Arthurian legend with our 2024 Fall flagship production of The Lady of Shalott!

Tennyson's poem The Lady of Shalott has enthralled readers for over a century. The mysterious tale of a woman cursed and trapped in a tower has captivated artists the world over, inspiring countless paintings and songs, all in service of answering the ultimate question: Who was The Lady of Shalott?

In the most innovative theatrical experience we have ever offered, The Globe Theatre at Odessa College takes audiences on an extraordinary adventure into the untold story of Camelot, bringing to life iconic characters like Arthur, Guinevere, Lancelot, Merlin and more with fierce humanity and unparalleled passion.

A celebration of live performance, art, poetry, dance, and music, The Lady of Shalott will awake your senses, uncover truth behind legend, and shatter the boundaries of theatrical performance.

*** Please note that seating is not typical. The play takes place in an art gallery and then moves outside into a courtyard. Some moments will have the audience standing and moving through indoor/outdoor spaces. ***
