Jody Mulgrew and Gary Garrett in Concert
Jody Mulgrew is a longtime favorite Central Coast singer/songwriter. His heartfelt songs and beautiful voice have captivated audiences all over the country for the better part of twenty years.
Jody Mulgrew grew up in Morro Bay, California, and as a child was drawn to the melodies he heard on the radio and the voices who sang them -- voices like Linda Rondstadt, Madonna, Dan Fogleberg, and Lou Gramm. He received his formal musical training in high school and college choirs, a cappella and vocal jazz ensembles, and received a degree in classical voice.
Jody has recorded five albums, and garnered recognitions like a 2012 Award of Excellence from the Songwriters Hall of Fame. At the 2022 New Times Music Awards Mulgrew was awarded Best Songwriter for his song Phony Gibson, the first single off of his new album.

Gary Garrett has been writing and performing his original songs for over 50 years. Gary says, "Songwriting is the truest thread that runs through my varied and adventurous life. I write about flying dreams, aha experiences, 70s bus rides, beach days, post-apocalyptic road trips, space travel, time spent in bed, frogs and every song, in some way, is a love song."
Gary led a Seattle rock and roll band in the 80's, sang singing telegrams for a living, helped lead a successful Christmas caroling business, and has spent many years as a wandering troubadour. He has recorded a vinyl LP, two solo CDs, and several CDs with original duo The Harmony People.
