Brandywine in White 2024
Brandywine in White 2024 It has been too long! We are so grateful to this community of friends and look forward to seeing you soon at Brandywine in White 2024!!
Tickets are now on sale for the Ninth Annual Brandywine In White, the Brandywine Valley's most sought-after Pop-Up BYO Summer Gala. Main Line Today and County Lines Magazines named Brandywine In White the best "dinner with a cause" because net proceeds from the event benefit a community effort.
This year's event will be held on Saturday, August 24th, beginning promptly at 5:30 p.m. and ending promptly at 10:00 p.m. Though in the past, we were keen on keeping things 'secret,' we are too excited to share the special location because it has deep meaning to our community. The event will be outdoors, rain or shine.
This year's Brandywine In White will feature some special touches at an exciting new location, which will be an adventure! Although we never revealed the location or even hinted at it, it has always been at a Brandywine Valley site featuring many of the bucolic features we love of our area. This year is no exception!
This year, Brandywine in White is proud to donate all net proceeds to Natural Lands, our region's oldest and largest conservation organization. Over the course of its 70-year history, Natural Lands has saved more than 135,000 acres, including 42 nature preserves and one public garden spanning 13 counties in two states. These properties are free and open to the public throughout the year. Land for life. Nature for all. This is the heart of Natural Lands' mission, and they keep this promise thanks to friends like us who value the essential role that preserved natural areas play in the health of our planet and the well-being of humans.
Every acre Natural Lands saves and cares for cools and cleans the air we breathe, soaks up floodwaters, filters the water we drink, provides wildlife with habitat, and brings humans improved health and joy. Our climate is changing. We are losing biodiversity. There's a new wave of sprawl, and access to the outdoors is unequal. This broad range of challenges can feel overwhelming and beyond the reach of any one person to solve. But we are far from powerless. Brandywine in White is a community. While none of us can do everything, we all can do something so that together we make a difference. Natural Lands' success includes their efforts to protect properties like Crebilly Farm, where this year's Brandywine in White dinner is taking place for committed conservation enthusiasts like all of us.
In addition to joining us for dinner on August 24th with your ticket/table purchase, we encourage you to directly contribute to support the organization's broad mission (natlands.org/support/brandywineinwhite/). We want Natural Lands to feel the love of the Brandywine in White dinner community!
Your ticket purchase to Brandywine in White includes your pass to the event, the table, white table linen, and white chairs. You supply your own plates, silverware, glasses, food and wine, and simple decor so you can enjoy the evening. There is no competition, just a celebration. If you are seated with a party, please note that when you purchase your ticket, so we have you together. If you are joining us at the Community Table, your dishes are provided; you need to bring a dish to pass/share and your own beverages. As we have an environmental focus, single-use plastic is highly discouraged.
For many years, you have all supported our efforts for Neighbors for Crebilly. We are so grateful for Westtown Townships dedication, the family of Crebilly Farm, and Natural Lands for moving this project forward together over multiple years. Natural Lands is approaching the final phase of fundraising, which they hope will make the dream of being successful a reality!
