Mezzo soprano Hayden DeWitt performs "Il Pastore Innamorato, or The Lovesick Shepherd," the first recital in Vertical Player Repertory's spring recital series, "miniatures behind the door."
Ms. DeWitt will be joined by soprano Beth Anne Hatton, flautist Joseph Trent, and pianist and flautist Cathy Venable for a program that includes "Der Hirt auf dem Felsen" by Franz Schubert, "Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen" by Gustav Mahler, arias and duets from "Il Re Pastore" by W. A. Mozart, and flute sonatas by Telemann.
Il Pastore Innamorato is the first in a series of intimate recitals which will go through June. For dates and details on future recitals, please go to vpropera.org
