"The Passion of Joan of Arc" receives its world premiere performances June 21 - 30 in Sonoma, California.
The piece tells the story of the trial and execution of Joan of Arc. Words and music are by John Partridge.
This production is directed by Aimee Greenberg with choreography by Lissa Ferreria and musical direction by the composer.
The opera is being staged outdoors on the grounds of Trinity Episcopal Church in Sonoma.
