Musicians of Ma'alwyck present Forbidden Music Regained
$15/general admission, $10/seniors, veterans, students
Forbidden Music Regained. All of the repertory is from the Leo Smit Archive in the Netherlands of Dutch composers who were persecuted by the Nazis. We are bringing a soprano from the Netherlands, who specializes in this repertory. Musicians will be Elizaveta Agrafenina, soprano; Ann-Marie Barker Schwartz, violin and Max Caplan, piano. The composers include Ignace Lilien, Henrietta Bosmans, Paul Hermann, Rosy Wertheim, and Dick Kattenburg
