Kwanzaa Celebration 2023 - Kids Show

Join us for an unforgettable Kwanzaa celebration that embodies the beauty of tradition and the vibrancy of youth! We are delighted to present the 6th Annual Kwanzaa Celebration, a harmonious partnership between Queensborough Community College, Rhythm N Dance Inc., the Kofago School of Dance and Culture, and the Kofago Dance Ensemble.

Immerse yourself in the richness of African and African American culture at the reimagined Queensborough Performing Arts Center (QPAC), as we make a grand return following its renovation closure since 2019.

This years show is a brilliant tapestry woven with some of New York Citys brightest youth talents. Be prepared to be enthralled by captivating performances that beautifully meld tradition with contemporary expression, showcasing the essence of Kwanzaas beloved principles and the future of our cultural legacy.
