SOLDIER IN ART: ARTHUR SZYK, Directors: Jim Ruxin
A wordless, musical tribute to the main themes in the life and work of Polish-Jewish artist and political cartoonist, Arthur Szyk (1894-1951. Szyk was a leading visual voice against the Axis powers in New York during WWII. Szyk was the most respected manuscript illuminator of the 20th century as well as art director for the Ministry of Propaganda of the new country of Poland after WWI. Self taught, he considered the US the standard for freedom for all individuals.

MY FAITH, MY LIFE, Director: Chasity Cagle
