Kim Kalesti Music is of the now and Music of the heart.  Infused with her illustrious musical history of jazz harmonies, storytelling poetry and beautiful soulful singing

Kim Kalesti  singer, songwriter, illustrator  is the culmination of a creative life.

A seasoned crooner of the American Songbook. Ms Kalesti's prolific ability to perform and compose, captures raw human emotions. Singing well crafted songs by other composers created a natural understanding of melody, poetic phrasing and harmonic sophistication.
Based on the human condition to express and share emotions. Kim Kalesti has created a unique catalog of songs.

Publishing several solo piano and voice thematic albums: Live From My Mind, Diggin The Dirt, New Worlds Became Me and I Love Today.

For The Universe a choral album features contemporary compositions. Singles with video Reflections, Take A Walk With Me, Once Again I Fell Back and Ringing In The Bells.
Diverse in her creative muse we can also include her electronic house music and songs with string quartet arrangements.

Her connection to the New York City jazz scene from 1983 to present continues to enhance her artistic profundity. Innovators such as Clark Terry, Dizzy Gillespie, Doc Cheatum, Philly Joe Jones, Elvin and Thad. Singers Betty Carter, Carmen McCrae, Eartha Kitt, Milt Jackson, Frank Foster, Walter Davis Jr., and many more were heavily on the New York scene in the early 80s. Every great jazz musician was accessible and willing to inspire and mentor new artists as Kim Kalesti.

HOLLY MIRANDA
Holly Miranda grew up between Detroit and Nashville, two music towns that would influence her own journey in a very profound way. She began playing piano at the age of six, taught herself guitar at fourteen and moved to New York at sixteen to start her professional career. For over twenty years, Holly has been performing, writing and producing with some of the best talent in the business. She has performed with the likes of Karen O, Lou Reed, The XX, and Lesley Gore. She released two records with her band The Jealous Girlfriends and has co- written and produced a mass of other projects. In 2021, Miranda and her long time collaborator, Ambrosia Parsley (Shivaree), started a co- operative record label called Eye Knee Records. The phonetical spelling of Ayni; a way of living by reciprocity. For every ten releases they donate 100% of the proceeds to a charity that benefits the communities of Earth. They have released twenty-one singles and a collection of sound installations Holly wrote for a sculpture garden in Pamplona, Spain (Un Bosque). Each single is accompanied by a music video and a story, the readers digest of record labels if you will.
