"Trends in the Furniture Industry"

PRESENTATION INFORMATION:
This will be a graphics-based presentation on current and future trends in the commercial office furniture industry, including:
1. The continuing evolution of ergonomics in the workplace with an overview of sit/stand and stand only options.
2. The new "benching" solution eliminating panels and the Dilbert cubicle, includes an overview / discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of benching and how to space plan with this new furniture solution and utilize sound masking to reduce distractions.
3. The utilization of pre-manufactured and fully assembled movable wall systems and storefront glass partitions that reduce construction waste and delivery time and can be relocated and reused.

Non-members: $30.00*
Students (mbrs & non-mbrs): $13.00*
*$10 added to cost for Chapter Members, Non-members and Students if RSVP is received after 3:00 PM Monday, March 24th.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT REGISTRATION:
CHAPTER MEMBERS: No charge will be assessed unless registering after the 3:00 PM Monday, March 24th deadline.
NON-MEMBERS and STUDENTS: If you wish to pay by check, please send an email to admin@sandiegocsi.org and follow up with your check, made payable to "CSI San Diego," to PO Box 191307, San Diego, CA 92159-1307. Payments must be received no later than Monday, March 24th or a $10 premium will apply.
WALK-INS accepted at the door on a "space available" basis. However, only cash or check payments will be accepted at the door (no credit cards).
CANCELLATIONS: Refunds will only be given for cancellations received before noon on Monday, March 24th.
NO SHOWS: Payments for no-shows will be retained in full.
