Time: 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. MST
Change in the focus of child welfare legislation, policy and practice has been described as the swing of the pendulum ranging from more interventionist approaches that prioritize ensuring the safety of children on one hand to approaches that focus on building the well-being and support of families coming to the attention of child welfare.
