Mosh Pit Army and Locals & Legends Presents: PROJECT INDEPENDENT 2014!

for the 6th straight year Mosh Pit Army been selected to host the Project Independent Tour for Phoenix! This is also the 2nd year in a row we've been offered the opportunity to host 2 shows! The 1st night will take place Saturday, August 30, 2013 and Halloween night, Friday, October 31, 2014!

This August 30, 2014 event features 2014 P.I.A.A. (Project Independent Artist Alliance) guest bands and finalist from the 2013 P.I. Tour DISCORDANT, THE PATTERN INTERRUPT, RIKSHA, and ENDever!

This Phoenix competitors for 8/30/14 are: SICMONIC, I DONT KONFORM, 13 STEPS TO NOWHERE, UNCONSCIOUS MINDS, WAKE THE HARBINGER, UNSHEATHE, and LIFTED TO FALL!

All bands competing in this year's competition will each receive a full live DVD recording of their performance from 6 different camera angles. A great addition to any band's press kit!

This year's online ticket buyers will all receive a Project Independent 2014 lanyard with laminated pass at will call. These will only be given to online ticket buyers.

Mosh Pit Army has hosted the Project Independent competition in the Phoenix area for the past 5 years. In 2009 we had 3 bands make it to the top 10 with 2 of them in a 3 way tie for 1st and losing to Eminent (Fracture Point, Stands With Fists, and Wynterborne). In 2010 and 2011 our Phoenix area bands failed to make it to the final round. In 2012 we finally did it! With both Element A440 and In Peril in the top 3 for the nationwide fan vote, ELEMENT A440 was crowned the winner of Project Independent 2012. In 2013 we finish the competition with 2 finalists DISCORDANT and THE PATTERN INTERRUPT!
