The 5th Women's Summit in Acadia will be held in Edmundston, New Brunswick, from August 17th to the 19th, 2014. Organized thanks to the collaboration of the Regroupement féministe du Nouveau-Brunswick and the 2014 World Acadian Congress, the Women's Summit is a unifying international event organized by and for women to discuss questions and issues that affect them. With the theme "Everywhere women decide women act !", the event will allow more than 200 women to exchange, to consult, to celebrate and take common action!

The event will begin during the evening of the 17th with an Opening Conference comprised of 3 panelists. In a lively and energizing environment, numerous activities will be offered all day on August 18th and the morning of August 19th. Participants will have the opportunity to create a Women's Summit Declaration in order to spread their vision of a new Acadia where Everywhere women decide ... women act !
