The Undesired Mess Showcase is a double hitter, two fringe performances for the price of one featuring:

Brittney S. Harris Being B.A.D. : Theatre/Dance
Embodying creative resistance against oppressive gender stereotypes and domestic violence, Being B.A.D. is a piece about personal acceptance and redemption from the cycle of abuse. This show explores the lengths to which one decides to take that power back after years of physical and emotional abuse at the hands of her family and romantic partner.

Carolina Quirós Its never enough: Dance
Its an exposure of the consumerism that is affecting all of us. The project asks for a reflection of our consumerism not just of material things, but persons, relationships, goals and that insatiable search to obtain the same without really knowing when enough is enough and basing our happiness, success on everything we have and not on what we are.

TwinNation and Friends:
Twin brothers Sanwone and Santae Benjamin are hip hop dancers from Charlotte, NC they have been in the dance community for years now. The twins started dancing in local talent shows in high school and have continued to grow their craft performing and teaching classes locally and nationally.  For BOOM they are collaborating with local roller skaters for an exciting performance.

Jordan Bailey  Da Art of Sampling: Spoken Word
Da Art of Sampling uses spoken word and hip hop to detail the plight of black folk in America. It will use sampled music as a framework for storytelling and diving into the sound of the times reflected in black youth.
