The Pros and Cons of Feeding Stray Cats
Christian St. Croix's new play "The Pros and Cons of Feeding Stray Cats" explores drug use and addiction in at-promise youth. Commissioned and produced by Playwrights Project, SAY San Diego, and Elevate Youth, this play will tug at your heartstrings and provide a glimpse into the lives of two transition-aged youth searching for meaning.
Tickets are free; reservations are required. Online reservations will close 12 hours prior the event.
**COVID-19 Health & Safety Guidelines** All attendees are required to wear a mask over their mouth and nose while inside the Performance Annex. While outdoors, masks are not required but they are strongly encouraged.

CHRISTIAN ST. CROIX is an award-winning playwright based in San Diego, CA. He was recently featured in American Theatre Magazines Role Call: People to Watch installment. His plays include Monsters of the American Cinema, winner of the 2021 Carlo Annoni International Drama Award, and Zach, winner of the 2021 Young-Howze Theatre Award for Best Comedic Writing. His work has been produced by Blindspot Collective in association with the La Jolla Playhouse (San Diego, CA), ArtsWest Playhouse (Seattle, WA), Prologue Theatre (Arlington, VA), Know Theatre of Cincinnati (OH), Playwrights Round Table (Orlando, FL) and the House of International Theatre in Copenhagen, Denmark. ELEVATE YOUTH is a youth coalition through SAY San Diego that aims to end youth substance disorders among justice-involved and housing insecure youth. Through collaboration with Urban Street Angels, Project AWARE, and Playwrights Project, Elevate Youth provides various supportive services to youth with or at-risk of developing substance use disorders, while advocating for trauma-informed services and policies.
