Keur Khaleyis Fall Culture Fest
O A day dedicated to the Baltimore family. Children, men, woman can spend the day with KKI to learn about the rich history and culture of West Africa. Free dance classes for children and adults, free samples of authentic West African Cuisine, storytelling section with a childrens craft corner. Baltimore Baltimore will gain knowledge needed for their cultural journey. Adult Dance classes will be taught by Master dancer Tacko Sissoko from Senegal ðð and KKIs own co-founder Jihan Von Hendricks. Drum circle lead my KKIs Musical Director Ayende Von Hendricks. Some of Baltimores well respected griots will bless our storytelling corner with stories of Africa. a Q & A with the guest artist. In the childrens craft corner, theyll learn how to make dance belts and bracelets to wear.
