Behind-the-Scenes Tours: Season Pass

When you visit our beautiful and informative exhibits, you are actually experiencing only a tiny fraction of the CHS collection. Hanging under muslin, placed carefully on shelves, hiding in drawers, the objects and images that tell the story of Connecticut are waiting to be shared. We invite you to experience that history in a way only a very few cancome and explore with an all-access pass to see hidden treasures of Connecticut history and learn about how museums work. Behind-the-Scenes Tours will be held every other month on Saturdays at 2:00 pm. The tours last approximately 1 hour and take visitors to the non-public areas of the museum to explore the riches of the CHS collections. Tour dates and themes:
February 8: Treasures from the CHS Collection
April 12: The Civil War 150 Years Later at the CHS
June 14: From Hoop Skirts to Mini Skirts at the CHS
August 9: Putting History on the Map
October 18: CHS Gets Creepy
December 14: G. Fox and Holiday Shopping at the CHS
