Flavors of Magic- June 9, 2022

Flavors of Magic is an intimate magic show featuring all kinds of magicians doing all kinds of magic.

We are magicians who perform wonders from the heart, bringing different perspectives and our personal styles and stories to one of the oldest performing arts. We feature artists who are Black, indigenous, and people of color, LGBTQ+ magicians, lots of female magicians, performers with disabilities, and neurodiverse magicians. We believe that our backgrounds and histories are reflected in the art we create.

Join us for an evening of wonders at 7pm on June 9, 2022, at the Flea Theater in Tribeca.

This month, Flavors of Magic Celebrates LGBTQ+ Pride with a fundraiser for LeGaL, the LGBTQ+ Bar Association of Greater New York, which provides vital educational programs, advocacy, and legal services to the LGBTQ+ community.

Our June show features:

Daniel GreenWolf, a witty, modern-day Celtic viking. Like James Joyce with a broadsword. He's an award-winning magician, and writer and a slightly mad Irishman. His show includes theatrical storytelling, exhilarating Irish music, interactive comedy, and thrilling danger with a Celtic theme.

Ryan Phillips is a professional Magician, Actor, and Magic Consultant from Washington, D.C. He is the magician in residence at the historic Mayflower Hotel downtown D.C. where he performs his double act comedy magic show The Magic Duel with partner Mark Phillips (no relation). Ryan also works with professional and local theaters as a magic consultant, designing illusions and teaching sleight of hand for theatrical productions.
