Do you like writing poetry? How about eating pizza? Why not try the two together?
In this all-ages, light-hearted workshop we'll discuss our favorite things about both pizza and poetry and talk about how everyone's preferences are different. We'll learn about playful poetic forms such as acrostics and calligrams (a.k.a. "concrete poems") that are shaped like their subject.
We'll try our hand at writing one of these or another type of poem (with the opportunity to share for those who are interested) while we all enjoy slices from the included pizza buffet!
Note: Workshop is appropriate for school-age and older. All attendees must be ticketed. Attendees 11 and younger MUST be accompanied by a ticketed adult (no drop-offs).
