Fonema Consort performs works by Gabriel Bolaños, Juan Campoverde Q, Pablo Santiago Chin, Sergio Cote, DM R, and Alexis Porfiriadis.
Known for their enthusiastic embrace of daring new music (Chicago Reader) Fonema is driven by a fascination with pieces that foster rich interplay of voices and instruments and that are characterized by deep expressivity. The ensemble is highly committed to presenting works by Latin American composers to US audiences and encouraging musical exchange between these regions.

Wheelchair accessibility: At the entrance of our building, there are two sets of doors that must be opened manually. Once through those, the elevators are straight ahead. Studio Z is on the 2nd floor.
Accessible bathrooms are located on the 2nd floor, the same floor as Studio Z.
All of Studio Z is on one level, including the stage.
Seating in Studio Z is not fixed. It can be moved to fit any accessibility need.
