Flavors of Magic

Flavors of Magic is an intimate magic show featuring all kinds of magicians doing all kinds of magic.

We are magicians who perform wonders from the heart, bringing different perspectives and our personal styles and stories to one of the oldest performing arts. We feature artists who are Black, indigenous, and people of color, LGBTQ+ magicians, lots of female magicians, performers with disabilities, and neurodiverse magicians. We believe that our backgrounds and histories are reflected in the art we create.

Join us for an evening of wonders at 7pm on April 21, at the Flea Theater in Tribeca.
Drinks (beer and wine) and deceptions are included.

The April 21, 2022 show features:

Rising star Apollo Riego, the most multifaceted magician of his generation. This Philippine born magician's performances are heavily influenced by his background in dance, mime and martial arts. The passion and energy he puts into everything he does is what makes Apollo stand out.

Eric Walton, a critically-acclaimed, award-winning entertainer who has performed across the United States and the globe. The New York Times called him an erudite magician and rabble-rouser. He's the creator and performer of numerous one-man shows, including Esoterica and Eric Walton: Mentalist, both of which have been produced Off-Broadway in New York City and in London. At his show, Eric promises, "gobs will be smacked!"

Magic legend and master magician Chris Capehart. Chris started doing magic (with just one trick) on the streets of NYC where he dazzled some of the toughest crowds in the world. He has graced the cover of Genii Magazine, a very prestigious honor, and has been dubbed The Ring Master, for good reason. Chris's linking ring routine has been acclaimed by some of the worlds most renowned magicians as the best of the best." In 2019 he won honors as The Magic Castle's "Parlour Magician of the Year." Very few magicians can do it all. Chris Capehart is one of them.

Your host for the evening is Sara Crasson, known for her wit, her charm, her humility, and her love for the art of magic.
