Craig Spence Mortal Fools Production Manager, responsible for all things theatre tech in our productions. Craigs journey started off in an Apprenticeship before working for the likes of Live Theatre Newcastle and The Six Twenty.
Claire Dupree - Founder and editor of NARC. magazine, an alt. music and culture magazine for the North-East. She also manages events, facilitates workshops and shares her insights on press, media and marketing for musicians and creatives.
Ellen Hedley Co-Founder at Vida Creative, a creative agency in Newcastle. Ellen is a passionate marketeer and supports folks to tell compelling stories through their branding, website, apps and more. We worked in collaboration with Vida Creative on elements of Melva digital.
Sheryl Jenkins - Animator and filmmaker working on collaborative projects with artists, schools, community groups, and education & arts organisations, independent film projects and arts residencies. Sheryl is one of our go to animators on projects at Mortal Fools and also works with the likes of Changing Relations, Queens Hall Hexham, Gateshead Council, Arts Centre Washington and many more!
Maisie S Mortal Fools Young Leader, Peer Facilitator and Ensemble Young Company member, Maisie is at Sixth Form and right at the beginning of her career journey! How exciting!
Scott Forbes - Marketing and Programming Coordinator at Mortal Fools multi-project partner and venue Gosforth Civic Theatre. Scott is responsible for ensuring audiences know about all the events and happenings at the venue. Hes previously worked at Sage Gateshead too.
Rachael Walsh Writer, director and dramaturg with a passion for work that supports and champions women to take up space onstage and in life. She is a recent graduate of the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School Drama Directing MA. She has supported and worked on many Mortal Fools projects.
Anna Robinson One of Mortal Fools go to theatre set designers - she trained in Design for Stage at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and has worked on a variety of productions, including her very own debut show at Alphabetti Theatre as a writer and theatre maker, No.9.
This event is hosted by Horts Mortal Fools Communications and Audience development manager who outside of Team Mortal Fools, runs her own business The Culture Vulture.
This event is free to attend (donations welcome) but you must register. Mortal Fools are a charity working with young people - all donations go back into this work.
