ABOUT BLUE PLATE SPECIAL

BLUE PLATE SPECIAL is three ladies and a ukulele, performing classic three-part harmony hits from the 1940s through the 1960s from such acts as The Andrews Sisters, The McGuire Sisters and The Ronettes. This sparkling female trio features vocalist Cheryl Serio, Seattle's Queen of Retro Cool (The Spyrographs, The ABBAgraphs); vocalist Meg McLynn (The Sugartime Trio, Purple Phoenix Orchestra); and vocalist/ukelelist Sunga Rose (Honeyville Rascals, Miss Rose and her Rhythm Percolators, Ukestra).

David Duvall Trio presents tunes from Carole King, Carly Simon, Janis Ian, Joni Mitchell, Dolly Parton, Melissa Etheridge, Laura Nyro, Steve Nicks and more. This evening of feminine energy not only sings it soars! Bass: Lawrence Karl. Drums: Don Dieterich.

ABOUT DAVID DUVALL

David Duvall is a Pacific Northwest-based singer/songwriter/performer who moved into the spotlight from being a musical director/accompanist when he turned 60. He has been director, musical director, and/or arranger for nearly 400 theatrical, nightclub and concert productions across the western US, and his work as a television composer has earned him two Emmy nominations (one win) for Best Original Music. As a singer-songwriter, he has released eight CDs, and has performed extensively as a solo artist in California, Oregon, Idaho, Washington and Hawaii.

Showtime: 7:00 PM. Doors open at 6:00.
