Women's History Month Story Time
On March 26, 2022, Lil' Miss Story Hour will host a community story time event to honor women and their accomplishments. To celebrate Women's History Month we will elevate stories of amazing women specifically in science and art, through stories, art forms, crafts, special guest artists, and picture books! Explorations include but are not limited to writing, illustrations, mathematics, music, and social experiences.
Book selections will include "Mae Among the Stars," by Roda Ahmed; "Me, Frida," by Amy Novesky; "Shaking Things Up: 14Young Women Who Changed the World," by Susan Hood; and "No Mirrors in my Nana's House," by Synthia Saint James.
Our special guests will be software engineer and percussionist, Nicole Maroney; multi-instrumentalist and performer, Harriet Lundrum (My Name is Harriet); poet and visual artist, Lindsay Maroney; and poet and artist, Kim Hoadley.

Event will be held on the second floor. Entrance into the building is not ADA accessible, but one in the event space all restrooms are location on the same level as the event. There are two ADA parking spaces in close proximity to the building.
