Highlands A Cappella Festival
The Highlands A Cappella Festival is a weekend full of performances, workshops, and masterclasses featuring some of the best in the business. This year's head clinician is Deke Sharon, the Father of Contemporary A Cappella. You may know Deke's work from the TV show The Sing-Off, the Pitch Perfect movie, and his most recent collaboration with Disney, DCappella. In addition to Deke, there are a host of other amazing a cappella clinicians who will educate, enlighten, and inspire you.
Friday night's Headliner Concert will feature selected middle and high school a cappella groups. Each group will receive comments from our amazing clinicians.
Saturday will be an entire day of workshops, masterclasses, and networking opportunities for teachers and students (anyone, really) who are interested in (or just curious about) contemporary a cappella. The afternoon features a concert by Aca-Open finalists, Black to Gold! The day will culminate with an evening Showcase Concert with Deke Sharon as emcee and the clinicians as guest performers.
