Puppet Playlist #17: Johnny Cash

"I hear the playlist coming. It's coming round the bend. And I ain't seen those puppets since, I don't know when..." That's right ladies and gentlemen, Playlist is back with the Man in Black, Johnny Cash.

Every three months, Puppet Playlist takes brilliant puppeteers and talented musicians and slams them together into an evening of live theater to stir the senses. The Playlist features performances of original works of puppetry based on a musical theme (selected by the audience from the prior show), mixed with live musical interpretations by some of New York's most exciting singer-songwriters. For the last four years Puppet Playlist has played to sold-out audiences. This Playlist will feature the music of Johnny Cash.

Previous performers (and their work) have been seen all over New York, across the country, and throughout the world, on, off- and off-off-Broadway, at HERE Arts Center, Shakespeare in the Park, the Metropolitan Opera, FringeNYC, Lincoln Center, with Jim Henson Productions, and on both American and international television.
