NEW YEARS SOLO-TACULAR

ABOUT THE SHOW: On Wednesday, December 31st W. Kamau Bell's Solo Performance Workshop is turning it up a notch (well several notches) when it inaugurates the first annual New Years Eve Solo-Tacular. The evening consists of two shows (7:30 and 10:00), each of which features a different quartet of the finest actor/writers to emerge from The SPW. Itll be like seeing an all-star team comprised of the best players from all the past all-star games. The performers represent a diverse cross-section of Bay Area inhabitants in terms of gender, race, age, religion, sexual orientation... and other stuff. In twenty minute segments these performers will conjure a world as complex and unpredictable as the one we live in but with much more humor and sensitivity. Kamau will be on hand to introduce both shows.

ABOUT W. KAMAU BELLS SOLO PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP: For more than three years the Solo Performance Workshop has been creating and producing some of The Bay Areas most exciting, relevant, daring, and unflinching solo performance. Co-founded and led by W. Kamau Bell, members of SPW have performed all over the Bay Area, Seattle, Los Angeles, and New York City (NYC Fringe Festival 2008). W.
