CULTIVATE General Admission

Everwood Farmstead Foundation invites you to join us at the farm on August 21, 2021 to enjoy an afternoon of music, food and friends to help further and grow the work of the Foundation.

Join us at the Farm as early as 12:00 pm before we gather in the barn at 1:30 pm to enjoy the first set from NACHITO HERRERA. Afterwards, enjoy a Spotted Cow or a glass of wine, artisan wood fired pizza served fresh from a mobile oven by A WANDERING FIRE and a summer salad prepared by Everwood. At 4:30 pm, we'll head back into the barn for Nachito's final set.

Given the CDC's updated guidance, Everwood will require all to wear a face mask in the barn (with the exception of the performers) and outhouse regardless of vaccination status.

CULTIVATE is a rain or shine event. No ticket refunds are available.

IGNACIO NACHITO HERRERA stunned Cuban audiences at the age of 12, performing Rachmaninoff's Concerto No 2 with the Havana Symphony Orchestra. Since then, Nachito has played at many of the worlds finest concert halls and prestigious jazz festivals. Named City Pages Best Jazz Artist for several years, he has also received several Minnesota Music Awards. Nachito has performed with multiple orchestras, including the Minnesota Orchestra, Metropolitan Orchestra, Minnesota Youth Symphony and Cuban National Symphony.

A Wandering Fire will prepare four custom pizzas (plus a cheese pizza!) at the farm from its mobile, wood fire pizza oven. They grow what they can, buy local, and if they can make a better ingredient than they can purchase, they do it. Their dough, sauces and sausage are all house made. And they grow their own Shiitake mushrooms and herbs.
